Lift devices are essential tools for all diving activities ranging from recreational drift and salvage diving to signaling and emergency flotation. Yet another unique Halcyon feature includes the flexible manner in which a variety of lift devices can be integrated into the Halcyon MC system, emphasizing diver safety and comfort. Halcyon's Supra® closed circuit lift bag, Surf Shuttle®, and/or Diver Alert Markers belong on every drift, shore or wreck dive.
These devices are essential as diving tools or life support devices and can each be used separately, or seamlessly integrated into the Halcyon MC system. All innovative Halcyon lift devices make excellent signaling devices on the surface and can be utilized as supplemental flotation devices at depth.
 The Diver's Life Raft® and Surf Shuttle® are essential safety devices for any dive where currents or distance could create a life-threatening separation from the dive boat.
From Cozumel to the Great Barrier Reef, divers are at great risk should they become separated from their dive boat. Including an alternative lift device like the Halcyon Diver's Life Raft is true life insurance for the DIR ocean diver.
Halcyon lift devices are designed for minimum storage size and maximum efficiency. Store your alternative lift device in a MC Storage Pak, in a thigh pocket, or on a rear D-ring. Transparent to the diver while stored, but easily deployed should the need arise.

PERSONAL LIFEBOAT: Modeled after the Air Force and Navy Single Man Life Boat, the DLR provides unprecedented safety at sea. The DLR can be integrated into the MC system, hidden neatly behind the diver's back in the MC Storage Pak, or folded into an optional external pouch. Spend the night, salvage rainwater, and broaden the "visibility dot" on the sea literally ten-fold with this six-foot, 300+ pound inflatable boat. The device can be inflated orally or with your BC hose.

Surf Shuttle
The Surf Shuttle provides an essential margin of safety for the diver facing a long wait at the surface prior to boat pickup, or even a long swim to shore in warm water. The Surf Shuttle and the Diver's Life Raft are essential gear for any diver who may be stranded on the surface after a dive.

Divers Alert Marker
 Halcyon's series of Diver Alert Markers provide maximum visibility and  redundant flotation at the surface
Open water divers should always carry a marker buoy they can send up in the event of separation from buddy, primary group, or boat
Available in four sizes:
Small Alert Marker: 3.3' long, 6 lbs lift
Semi-Closed Alert Marker: 3.8’ long, 20 lbs lift
Big Alert Marker: 4.5' long, 40 lbs lift
Super Big Alert Marker: 6' long, 52 lbs lift

Supra Closed and Semi-Closed Lift Devices
 Divers are discovering that lift bags are useful for much more than just salvage and underwater lifting. Halcyon's lift bags can be inflated through a low pressure inflator hose and feature a one-way valve to ensure that the bag will maintain lift all the way to the surface.
Whether used as a marker device while at depth, supplemental surface flotation, or as a signaling device, lift bags provide an added margin of safety and comfort. Halcyon lift bags fold so small they can store in the Halcyon thigh pocket or Backplate Pak Halcyon now includes a Semi-Closed Circuit 60lb. Lift Bag in  their lift device product line. Halcyon's SCC 60 was designed to allow for easy lift inflation for a wet suit diver who wouldn't otherwise have a spare low-pressure inflation hose handy. Designed to be filled by a diver's second stage regulator, the SCC 60 combines the ease of inflation of a traditional bell-bottomed lift bag with an over-pressure release valve to dial in a precise amount of lift and to prevent damage caused by over-inflation at depth.

CC 80 & 185
Of course, Halcyon's Closed Circuit 80 and 185lb. lift bags are still the industry standard for technical applications where precise control over lift and surface control are essential.
- Closed circuit design means the object of a difficult search will reach the surface without the risk of inadvertently dumping, losing buoyancy
